Meet your Photographer

Hi, my name is Cayley Black and I am the owner/sole photographer at Cayley Black Photography. I live in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada with my husband and 2 kids. I love coffee, country music, taco's & quality experiences with my kids. I have always been into photography and growing up was referred to as the 'Paparazzi' amongst family and friends. After working as Paramedic for 14 years my career path shifted towards Photography with a focus on newborn and family photography and I retired in October 2018 from the ambulance. I officially started Cayley Black Photography in 2012 as a small side hustle and now I am proud that its my full time passion and job. I now specialize in Newborn and Family photography. And I offer a wide variety of Photography services such as maternity, newborn, family, lifestyle, engagement, wedding, branding and headshot photography as well.

I describe my photography style as clean, fun and memorable with a focus on capturing all of the moments big and small.

I know how busy and stressful life can be and I want to take the "work" out of documenting your moments for you. I create an easy, stress free experience from the time of booking your photos, the photo session and until you have your online gallery delivered.

I'm now in my 10th year of business and I have to pinch myself everyday that I get to do my dream job, capturing your special moments and having clients who truly become friends.

2019 was an exciting year for Cayley Black Photography as I saw a record amount of family's and photographed 102 Newborn sessions in 1 year. I have received the Platinum Award for Best Photography Studio in Waterloo Region by The Record's Readers Choice Awards in

Meet Angela!!!!

Once you start the booking process via email, you will be communicating with Cayley's administrative assistant Angela Inch. Angela is a long time client of Cayley's and has an extensive background in Administrative work. She keeps Cayley's life organized and makes the booking process, straight forward and easy to follow. She will work with you to book the best type of session for you. She is super down to earth and as client of Cayley's she can relate to you as a client as well.
