How Many Images are included in my session?

Unless listed differently, all sessions include ALL quality images taken, hand edited by me, delivered in an online gallery for download. All images in your gallery are property of you and all print writes are released to you.
On average Newborn & Family sessions receive a minimum of 75 images in high resolution for digital download. (No prints are included)

How will I receive my photos?

All photos are delivered in a beautiful online gallery for viewing and giving you access for downloading digitally.

How long until I receive my finished photos?

My gallery delivery time can fluctuate depending on the time of year. During the "busy" months of Sept-Dec, expect approximately 5-6 weeks for a finished gallery from the date of your session. But typical turn around time is 4-6 weeks for a finished gallery.
**** A rush fee of $150 to return photos within 72 hours of the session is always an additional add on.

How many photographers work for you?

Cayley Black is the sole photographer at Cayley Black Photography. She will be the only photographer taking your photos. She can hire a second shooter if needs for assistance.

What if it rains or snows on the day of my session???

If you are like me, you will stress about the weather for an entire week leading up to your session. I actually love shooting in all types of weather year round but I also always want my clients to be completely satisfied with their session. Obviously bad weather days are out of our control. As the photographer, I will make the primary weather decisions on the day of the session as to whether or not we will cancel the session. If the weather doesn't look ideal, we will communicate together 3-5 hours before the session to decide the best plan of action.

What if we are sick on the day of our session?

Life happens! I get that! If your family is sick or unwell on the day of your session, its always the best idea to reschedule. I just ask for honestly and as much notice as possible and if a family member is too ill for photos we will find a new date to reschedule.
*** On select "Mini" session dates that time sensitive have a different sick policy which will be included with your booking information when you book.

Are pets allowed at sessions?

Absolutely!!!!! Pets are welcome at all outdoor family sessions. I just ask you let me know in advance if your pets are going to be involved in photos so we can choose a location that is suitable for your pet. I also ask that you bring along a helper to control or contain your pets for the photos they are not apart of.

Pets unfortunately are not welcome in my studio space at this time.

How long have you been a photographer?

This is officially my 12th year in business but I've had a camera in my hands ever since I can remember. From my polaroid camera, to my panoramic film camera, to my first DSLR- I've always been known to family and friends as the "paparazzi". I am happiest when I have a camera in my hand documenting moments.
I am self taught and I have taking dozens of workshops, courses, classes and attended many in person photography workshops and conferences.
